A built-in hole is provided on all Anthologie blocks as well as hanging string for the Assemblage collection. You only need a screw or nail securely mounted on the wall and they're ready to hang. Nostalgia Blocks look best when displayed in groupings. However you can interchange blocks and create new arrangements and sequences.

Before we start new designs, materials are prepared to create a themed storyboard that relates sincerely with our lives. Some themes, like our architectural designs, have elements that incorporate the familiar, like column and buttress, providing you with an easier choice when imagining them in a setting.

Final sketches are made and approved with Dennis' expertise before the designs are sent out for carving and polishing. Afterwards, rubber molds are poured on the model.

The cracks on each block are real. They are created before the mold is prepared. After casting the product, paints and finishes are then applied by hand on each block.

Nostalgia Blocks are sculptured wall arts that are ideal for interior furnishings, providing contemporary accent to your existing or desired interiors, at a very affordable rate. The designs are themed with old-world art and literature, evoking 'our yearning for a lost time and place.

While ‘nostalgia' may mean mal du pays in French, heimweh in German, hiraeth in Welsh or el mal de corazón in Spanish, the word also calls to mind our sense of belonging and identity. It is with this oneness with ourselves and our living spaces that these decorations are conceptualized and produced.

Each block is hand-cast using plaster, with fully dried weight of 2 lbs each. They are air-dried and sealed before paints are applied on them. For the Assemblage collection, hand-stretched cotton canvas is used on a wooden frame, making them true works of art that you can hang on your wall. The attachments used are made of hand-cast plaster.

Nostalgia Blocks themes are influenced heavily by old-world arts and literature. Other inspirations such as games, love, and fairy tales are interwoven with artistic flair by creator Dennis de Jesus.
